Attorney Lisa Kritske is a rare combination of altruism and hard-won practicality. She doesn’t just want the best for her clients—she takes an active role in clearing the way for good things to happen. Lisa’s unshakable work ethic combined with a genuine desire to be of service to others defines her approach to family law.
Lisa is a capable can-do lawyer with a wealth of versatility. With more than 25 years of experience spanning the areas of family law, civil litigation, legal department management, and legal education she brings an unmatched array of tools and perspectives to the table—listening to concerns, calming frustrations, and seeing things through to a clear resolution.
Clients say Lisa never makes them feel like a number and that she is highly effective at helping them navigate emotional situations. Attentive and detail-oriented, Lisa stays connected to the human elements of her work—never forgetting the impact her spreadsheets, support calculators, or property division worksheets will have on her clients’ daily lives.
She finds great joy in helping her clients build stable, secure, and happy futures. However, her greatest pride is not in her own individual achievements but in the magnitude of good she has done for others. From volunteering at Children’s Hospital and tutoring elementary school children to providing legal assistance to inmates in the Wisconsin Prison System, Lisa continues to use her time and talents for the greater good.
Lisa is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis where she became proficient in Spanish through her studies abroad in Bogota, Colombia. As a student at the University of Wisconsin Law School, she was heavily involved in moot court and oral advocacy competitions and has continued to volunteer as a coach and judge for high school mock trial teams. She has taught more than twenty college classes related to the law and legal professions.
Outside of her community and legal interests, Lisa enjoys spending time with her teenage son.
